While this book was pretty good I have some serious issues with character inconsistencies, both physical descriptions and personality. So with the characters' personality it is like both of them totally flipped around chapter 5 and 6. Charlotte went from seemingly being a confident, strong, sober, flirty, bold, outspoken, take no crap from anyone southern belle to a native of Brooklyn who is a little insecure, mistreated, worrywart. Her appearance also changed through the book she went from being a statuesque and voluptuous brown girl with green eyes and long curly hair to being a average height chocolate girl who was curvy but not as endowed with golden-greenish eyes to being a ginger red head with milky white skin and golden eyes. Lucas went from being a confident, tender, caring, polite, reserved nice guy to being a being shy, insecure , rattled worrier to a secure, confident, aggressive, dominating Christian Grey like character. It also has a lot of grammatical and spelling errors that just should not exist in works by such a well published author, it needs to be edited. To be fair I am still reading it and am looking forward to see how the rest of it unfolds.Product details

Lucas & Charlotte - their chemistry is hard to ignore. They hit it off immediately. If you are looking for a quick read with passion & a new twist on the surrogate series, this is a story for you.

It was a great read. Normally the surrogate story show the characters failing for each other during the pregnancy. This storyline was a nice change in which they feel in love and neither wanted the surrogacy but to follow their true path of love for one another.
Good romance story however, it became confusing with description of Charlotte . It began with her with caramel skin and long curly hair down her back to a pale Charlotte with red hair. Otherwise, the story was a sweet romance story of a surrogate and a billionaire finding love.
I was not impressed with either book. The 'Designer's Surrogate's' plot went by so quickly, I lost the original premise of the book. Very odd. The next book was forced and not well crafted. Not every one jumps in bed after 2 hours of meeting. After the sex, the author didnt/couldn't take the plot anywhere.
This was a very good story and I felt the plot of the story deserve 5 stars however reading this book feel like you were reading two story's in one book. The errors really took from the book and seems like they were talking about 4 different characters. It would have really been good if they could have had the baby which was the original reason they got together. I like the second book more.
I detest reading books where the mental dialogue is 80 % of the story. I find these type of romance books very boring. I want books where the dialogue between the characters is fairly upbeat constant and keeps you reading more. I am 1/3 the way through this book and I am not going to finish it . i read the reviews but Lucas is boring. Page after page of what they was thinking. He's a billionaire yet I felt that he was not the owner of the business but just another employee. FYI Women can breast feed an adopted child and it has been done many women.
This book started off good. What the hell happened? All of sudden crazy sex scenes ,the surrogate had pale skin and red hair. It was almost a line or two from another story..What ever happened to friends from the bar. Up pops a old friend from college. This book was all over the place.
